What you

can do

There are many things you can do to help our live music venues — write in, amplify the message, and most importantly, turn up to your local venues and keep them alive.

1 MAKE A SUBMISSION

On 3 October 2025, the Australian Government launched a Parliamentary Joint Committee on Corporations and Financial Services inquiry into small business insurance.

This is where we come in. Since the post-lockdown era, live entertainment venues have been hit with skyrocketing premiums — and in many cases, no access to cover at all. It’s putting your favourite stages, nights out, and local jobs at risk.

It doesn’t have to be this way. Help us push for fair, transparent insurance — and keep live venues open.

2 Share the campaign

Big change needs big awareness.

Share the campaign and help others understand the issue: rising premiums, disappearing cover, and the flow-on effects to local jobs, events, and community life. Personal stories matter — the venues you love, the gigs you’ve seen, and what it would mean to lose them.

The wider the reach, the stronger the case for reform.

3 Support YOUR local venue

Support your local venue by making it a night out.

See a local act, bring your mates, and buy what you can — a ticket, a meal, a soft drink, merch. Every bit helps keep live entertainment alive.
